  • CF.NET development (using VB.NET) on PDAs and barcode stock control system
  • GPS moitoring application over GPRS
  • Developed a PDA application in .NET for tracking the movement of pallets onto lorries and between depots (Full developemt life cycle). This project integrated barcode scanning functionality on the PDAs to scan in various types of pallet and had the fucntionality to move the pallet locations around, run stock checks and quality checks. The data was then uploaded via HTTP Requests to a web service via either a GPRS or a wireless link in the depots.
  • Also developed a .NET system for monitoring the GPS locations of lorries around the country and using web services and MapPoint to plot locations and calculate routes.
  • Designed and wrote a low level .NET installer program for the PDA application to automatically install from an SD Card.
